Mount Vesuvius 1.Mount Vesuvius is a stratovolcano which is is a tall, conical volcano composed of one layer of hardened lava, tephra, and volcanic ash. 2.The location is the Gulf of Naples, Italy. 3.The elevation is 4,203 feet. 4.The volcano last erupted in Mount Vesuvius is responsible for the deaths in Pompeii. Those are some facts for you aliens looking for somewhere to go.

Amazon Rainforest 1.The Amazon rainforest is the largest tropical rain forest in the world; 2.It is found in South America; 3.It is criss-crossed with thousands of rivers; 4.It is millions square miles; 5.10% of world species live in the Amazon rainforest. Also, word out to you aliens, if you love animals I suggest you visit the rainforest.

Perito Moreno Glacier Calling all aliens (Mrs.Hammoud), If you like places that look amazing then I suggest you visit Perito Moreno Glacier. 1.The perito Moreno Glacier is located in Los Glaciares National park in Argentina. 2.It is an ice formation that measures 250 km. 3.The Glacier is one of the most famous tourist attractions in Argentina. 4.The Glacier has no vegetation on it. 5.The average temperature of the glacier is 46 degrees fahrenheit.

Mount Everest 1.Mt. Everest is 29,035 feet tall; 2.The summit is the border of Nepal to the south and China or tibet to the north; 3.It is over 60 million years old; 4.The rocky summit is covered with deep snow all year; 5.It grows 4 mm every year. Mountains Challenges ●Transportation problems; ●Cannot be used for farming; ●There are barriers between people. Opportunities Recreation; Beauty; Minerals. For you aliens that love to travel I’d suggest you hike the mountains.

Rain Forests Challenges Difficult area to live in; Dense vegetation; Transportation problems. Opportunities Many valuable plants for medicine; Trees for lumber; Oxygen for the Earth. If you aliens love nature, you’ll fall in love with the rainforest.

Glaciers Challenges Chunks of ice falling off can present a danger to ships; People can't live on them. Opportunities It can provide scientific study; Tourism. Just so you aliens know you can’t live on one of these like you would the planet Mars.

Volcanoes Challenges Violent eruption that can cause lots of damage. Opportunities ●Scientific study You aliens should not go near one of these while it erupts unless you want to end up a pile of melted mush.

Continents One way we regionalize the Earth is by the continents.

Population Humans can also regionalize the Earth by the population.

Climate Finally, one of the other ways we humans regionalize the Earth is by climate.

Statue of liberty One of the most famous landmarks is the Statue of Liberty located in NewYork.

Eiffel Tower Another famous landmark is the Eiffel Tower found in Paris, France.

The Great Wall Of China For this landmark I prefer you aliens to go here because I know that aliens are claustrophobic so I think that you will have plenty of space at the Great Wall Of China.

Taj Mahal Finally, one of the most famous and beautiful landmarks is the Taj Mahal located in Agra, India.

Make sure to arrive at daytime so you can see everything clearly; Stay away from animals because some of them are very dangerous; Never get close to volcanoes, they can erupt at anytime; Don’t try to climb Mount Everest, this could be the cause of your death; Don’t get too close to glaciers, you can freeze to death; Dress appropriately for the weather. Travel Tips

A Packing List Pack yourself some kind of a weapon to protect yourself from wild animals; A first aid kit will be very useful; Bring extra layers of clothes for the weather; Don’t forget your hiking tools; Bring food and extra drinking water; Get your flashlight because it gets dark at night; Get your umbrella ready, you’ll never know when it will rain; Bring a hat and sunscreen to protect you from the sun; Finally, pack a map, and a compass rose.
