 Spring  Hibernate  JSP  Ajax Technologies

 The Spring Framework provides a comprehensive programming and configuration model for modern Java-based enterprise applications - on any kind of deployment platform. A key element of Spring is infrastructural support at the application level: Spring focuses on the "plumbing" of enterprise applications so that teams can focus on application-level business logic, without unnecessary ties to specific deployment environments. Spring

 Idiomatic persistence  Hibernate enables you to develop persistent classes following natural Object-oriented idioms including inheritance, polymorphism, association, composition, and the Java collections framework. Hibernate requires no interfaces or base classes for persistent classes and enables any class or data structure to be persistent.  High Performance  Hibernate supports lazy initialization, numerous fetching strategies and optimistic locking with automatic versioning and time stamping. Hibernate requires no special database tables or fields and generates much of the SQL at system initialization time instead of at runtime.  Hibernate consistently offers superior performance over straight JDBC code, both in terms of developer productivity and runtime performance.  Scalability  Hibernate was designed to work in an application server cluster and deliver a highly scalable architecture. Hibernate scales well in any environment: Use it to drive your in-house Intranet that serves hundreds of users or for mission-critical applications that serve hundreds of thousands.  Reliable  Hibernate is well known for its excellent stability and quality, proven by the acceptance and use by tens of thousands of Java developers.  Extensibility  Hibernate is highly configurable and extensible. Hibernate

 JavaServer Pages (JSP) is a technology that helps software devolpers create dynamically generated we pages based on HTML, XML, or other document types.  Architecturally, JSP may be viewed as a high- level abstraction of Java servlets. JSPs are translated into servlets at runtime; each JSP servlet is cached and re-used until the original JSP is modified.  JSP can be used independently or as the view component of a server-side model-view- controller design, normally with Java Beans as the model and Java servlets as the controller.
