ARK NET METERING LAW ALLOWS ELECTRIC CUSTOMERS TO INSTALL RENEWABLE ENERGY GENERATION EQUIP, CONNECT IT TO THE GRID, AND USE THE ELECTRICITY GENERATED (kwh) TO OFFSET THEIR CONSUMPTION OF ELECTRICITY FROM THE GRID.

SIZE LIMITATIONS 25 KW FOR RESIDENTIAL 300 KW FOR ALL OTHER USES CUSTOMERS MAY INSTALL AS MANY OF EACK OR BOTH TYPES AS THEY WISH, AS LOG AS TOTAL CAPACITY DOES NOT EXCEED ---5 OF CUSTOMER’S PROJECTED NEEDS.

OTHER PROVISIONS EXCESS KWH’S GENERATED IN A GIVEN MONTH CAN BE CARRIED FORWARD 16 MONTHS. GENERATION CREDITS MAY BE APPLIED TO ALL METERS USED BY THE CUSTOMER(METER AGGREGATION) IN THE SERVICING UTILITY’S SERVICE AREA.

OTHER PROVISIONS ( CONTD ) METERS MAY BE ON NONCONTIGUOUS PROPERTIES RENEWABLE ENERGY CREDITS GENERATED REMAIN PROPERTY OF THE CUSTOMER
