The purpose of this act was to keep farm prices high by limiting the amount of farm land in use.

1930’s proposal of President Franklin Delano Roosevelt (FDR) which would allow the President to expand the number of Supreme Court justices. It was declared unconstitutional.

A period of decline in the economy characterized by unemployment, falling prices, and decreasing business activity.
