1. First write your name on the line Alma Mater A W E S O M E C H E E R F U L Write an adjective that means “good”. Write an adjective that means “happy”.

2. Fold paper exactly in half. Make sure to line up corners.

3. Fold paper exactly in quarters, so that the edges line up evenly with the center line fold.

4. Flip the paper over and fold carefully along lines 4a and 4b.

4 (continued) Re-fold along lines 3a and 3b, so that your paper looks like this.

5. Fold 5a and 5b so that they meet at the center

6. Flip the paper over to look like this

7. Fold back at the vertical centerline

8. Fold on lines 8a and 8b

9. Fold the triangle over to look like the picture.

10. Flip paper and then fold the tip under.

11. Fold in half again on the center line fold

12. Fold first wing down at dotted line and then fold second wing down equally.

Lastly, make sure to crease the folds well at step 12 If you open and re-crease these folds several times, then the bat will flap better as it is flying.
