How did scientists predict the existence of Pangea the “Super Continent”?

 Hand in “Parts of the Earth Assignment”  If not complete you will lose 2 marks and you must come in at lunch to finish.

 Put together a puzzle of Pangaea using the following clues. 1) The shape of the pieces 2) Matching the fossils found at each location

Convection Currents: The movement of a liquid or a gas due to temperature difference. Hot substances rises, cools off and sinks and then the cycle repeats.

 1-2o cm per year  North America and Europe separate by 2 cm a year.
