Our location is….. We’ve kept it a secret for so long! But now we can finally reveal…

Pine Ridge, South Dakota!

Wanblee, SD on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation Open to both middle school and high school students (rising 8 th graders through rising college students) Run by YouthWorks, a national mission organization (they ran our site in Hamlin this past summer) YouthWorks has been running trips in Pine Ridge for a decade plus (since 1999) Continues Christ Church’s tradition of American Indian missions  Serve through painting, cleaning, yard work or other simple work projects  Plan and lead kids programming for children in the community, including Bible lessons, games, crafts and reading  Students will have the opportunity to participate with each of the above service sites during the week  There may also be opportunities to volunteer with ministries that address persistent needs in the community, like hunger and homelessness Location Information

Some Facts About Pine Ridge Pine Ridge is a place of heartbreaking need Around 97% of the population lives below the federal poverty line, and most homes are badly over-crowded Life expectancy is shorter than in any other community in the Western Hemisphere aside from Haiti Despite these huge challenges, YouthWorks is committed to Pine Ridge because the people there are committed to bettering their lives
