Super Trade Mission to China ICT Sector

This multi-sectoral trade mission of up to 250 companies will be led by senior Victorian Government and industry representatives It will focus on enhancing and developing commercial opportunities within the: - ICT - Automotive - Education - Cleantech - Urban Systems Design - Commercial Aerospace - Tourism - Aviation - Life Sciences; and - Food and Beverage sectors Scope of the Super Trade Mission

What is the Super Trade Mission? The Super Trade Mission will incorporate business-to-business meetings, in- market site visits, networking events tailored to each industry, as well as promotional media opportunities; Commercially orientated, with heavy emphasis on achieving export growth and enhancing networks and relationships; Two major gala networking events in Dongguan and Nanjing which are mandatory for delegates to attend, incorporated into a specific ICT Sector program; and There is no cost to participate, a subsidy of $3,000 is provided to offset travel and accommodation.

Key objectives Build relationships with companies and government representatives in China; Identify potential business partners; Gain a better understanding of the market in China; and Promote awareness of Victorian technology capabilities.

Who is eligible? Minimum requirements include: Is headquartered or has significant operations in Victoria; Has an ABN; Is financially viable and not insolvent; Is currently exporting or export ready; Has a product or service that has significant Australian content and is intended to be exported from Victoria or engages in R&D and product development in Victoria; Has the potential to grow its revenue and/or employment in Victoria; Is willing to participate in the minimum requirements of the mission program (two in- market gala events and two pre-mission briefings); and Is willing to complete a post-mission evaluation form within 14 days of the mission concluding.
