The City of Calgary Seven departments with a total of over 30 different business units from Animal & Bylaw Services, IT, Planning & Development, Transportation Infrastructure to Water Resources and Services are run by 13,000 employees. The Council consists of 15 members; the Mayor, and 14 councillors. Each of the 14 councillors, represent one of the city's 14 wards with a total of 1,4 Mio citizens.
