The Four Regions of the U.S.

The Northeast

Northeast 5% of U.S. landmass Contains 20% of population in US The Northeast has 2 parts: NEW ENGLAND MID ATLANTIC Called America’s Gateway, because most European immigrants first settled in this region

Megalopolis Megalopolis: an area where several large cities and surrounding areas grow together.
