Admissions and Student Profile Heavily over-subscribed with more than 1000 applications each year for 180 places leading to a catchment area less than 1 mile 30% Free school meals 60% Disadvantaged students 70% English as an additional language More than 70 languages spoken

Pastoral Care The UCL Academy’s Pastoral system is based on 5 Houses, each with its own dining and social area The Head of House is based in the House area Each House has a number of small House tutor groups These are vertical House Tutor groups mixing Foundation level (year 7) and level 3 ( year 12) However, the Foundation level students will meet their tutor twice a day, once on their own and once with level 3 students

International Middle Year Curriculum into the Academy Connected Curriculum Developed for use in British Schools around the world Built on the success of the International Primary Curriculum The 3 year IMYC has 30 units each lasting 6 weeks From these units UCL Academy will select a curriculum that best suits our students.
