1. LIFE WORTHY OF GOD

Colossians 1:3-6 (NIV) [3] We always thank God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, when we pray for you, [4] because we have heard of your faith in Christ Jesus and of the love you have for all the saints—

Colossians 1:3-6 (NIV) [5] the faith and love that spring from the hope that is stored up for you in heaven and that you have already heard about in the word of truth, the gospel

Colossians 1:3-6 (NIV) [6] that has come to you. All over the world this gospel is bearing fruit and growing, just as it has been doing among you since the day you heard it and understood God's grace in all its truth.

Colossians 1:9 (NIV) [9] For this reason, since the day we heard about you, we have not stopped praying for you and asking God to fill you with the knowledge of his will through all spiritual wisdom and understanding.

Colossians 1:10 (NIV) [10] And we pray this in order that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and may please him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God,

1 Thessalonians 2:12 (NIV) [12] encouraging, comforting and urging you to live lives worthy of God, who calls you into his kingdom and glory.

Colossians 2:8 (NIV) [8] See to it that no one takes you captive through hollow and deceptive philosophy, which depends on human tradition and the basic principles of this world rather than on Christ.

Colossians 2:9-10 (NIV) [9] For in Christ all the fullness of the Deity lives in bodily form, [10] and you have been given fullness in Christ, who is the head over every power and authority.

Matthew 7:15 (NIV) [15] “Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves.
