Today we had fun and I was so excited to go to the museum.
I was very excited to see the city and the Christmas decorations.
We saw a story in the windows. It was called Santa Claus and the Three Bears.
These are the three bears. They look pretty fluffy and cute.
I was thirsty so I wanted a drink.
I was so excited when I saw the sea creatures at the museum. That was the first thing we saw.
Can you see the ocean?
It looks different at night time. I thought the big leatherback turtles were scary.
Next we saw the dinosaurs. I am nearly as big as this dinosaur leg. What dinosaur do you think this is?
This was the huge dinosaur and I thought it was a baby one!
On the screen we saw a HUGE wombat! I’ve never seen a huge wombat before!
We went upstairs and this is my favourite eagle in the world.
Here are some possums. They were cute and fluffy and next to them was their skeleton!
These green pythons look like twins. They are very cute and scaly.
I helped the museum people collect the little stick insect eggs.
I had to sort through the poo!
This lady gave me some baby stick insects. I was so excited!
From the shop I got a toy pterodactyl.
On the way home we ate a Christmas tree with sparkles. They were so yummy.
I have my pterodactyl and my baby stick insects.
I was thirsty again. I had a big strawberry milkshake.
Then I fed the ducks and the turtles. I saw a big fish.
This turtle was near us and it was very fun. I nearly caught it.
Look at all these turtles! What do you think they are called?
We saw a cockatiel in this tree. It looked hurt to me but when it flew off, it was fine. Here is a cockatiel – a wild one!
When we got home we needed to make a house for the stick insects. Two are brown. They are Goliath stick insects. Two are green and they are children’s green stick insects.

Gran built the house for the stick insects. We put in some gum tree leaves.
