 Throughout the twentieth century, numerous technological advances became available to society. One may not realize the importance of some or the impact; however, if man did not have some of these modern conveniences, the world would be a much different place.

 Throughout the twentieth century the working class has changed. Women have entered the work force and have equal pay. Some businesses have thrived over time and others are no longer available.
