Terms & Conditions 1. European Simulation Game is a multiparty exchange project co-financed by the European Commission, under the Youth Programme (Action 1). This project is administered and executed by Young Geographers, the Coordinating Organization. Young Geographers reserves the right to cancel the project under any unforeseeable exceptional situation or event beyond the organizers’ control, and therefore return partly, or fully, the fund to the Greek National YOUTH Agency. 2. Young Geographers is bound with YOUTH Programme’s and National YOUTH Agency's rules and regulations, and is, under no circumstances, allowed to fund physical persons or activities, other than those stated clearly in the contract between Young Geographers and the Commission. 3. Τhe participant countries in this project are: Austria, Cyprus Estonia, Greece, Hungary, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Poland, Romania, Slovenia and Spain. YOUTH Programme follows an equity policy in places distribution, offering to each participant country an equal number of places. Each exchange partner is entitled to 4 places, plus one for Group Leader – 5 in total. All participants must not exceed 25 years of age in the period when the project is held. This restriction, however, does not apply to team leaders.

4. YOUTH Programme funding will cater for accommodation, boarding, local transportation, activities' costs and necessary equipment. The European Commission covers 70% of eligible actual travel costs incurred, as clearly stated in the contract between Young Geographers and the Commission. This compensation fund differs from partner to partner. For more information, please consult the following chart. All exchange partners are co-responsible for the travel costs' refund. Project participants must provide to Young Geographers all original airfares and boarding passes, train tickets and ferry tickets, in perfect condition. Failure to do so, will result in non-refund, for which Young Geographers may not be held accountable. Only the cheapest means of transport /fares are subject for reimbursement (APEX airfare, 2 nd class train ticket, etc). 5. The EU grant is based on the principle of co-funding, with other public and/or private contributions. The total project cost cannot be covered by YOUTH alone. Therefore, all exchange project partners’ contributions in cash or in kind are crucial in covering the total project cost. As far as possible, the participants should take part in the fund-raising activities, so that they are fully involved in project preparation. Each participant should contribute towards the total project cost with a fee of 120 EUR ( 120€ ). The Participant Fee shall be paid on site.
