Formatting a Word Document Objectives: The Student will: 1. Understand the different images available 2. Understand how to add images to a Word document 3. Complete the Word document started the previous day 4. Understand how to prepare to print a document

Hands on Learning… Open the “Sec Images and Pre-Printing Instructions.doc” You will be graded on how exact the file is created. Consider saving the file to your flash drive or on your Google Drive. It’s always good to have a backup. Follow the step by step instructions to create the document – Do not print the file until told to do so.

Hands on Learning… Take a minute and read over the imaging information Note the Copyright section! Just because you find an image on the internet does not mean you are free to use that image as you please. For example, I had to get permissions from the author of the website to use her text and images in our class.
