Finn MacCool and the Giant’s Causeway

About the legend The story takes place in Ireland. The characters are Finn MacCool who is a giant from Ireland, Benandonner the Scottish Giant and Finn’s wife, Oonagh.

The walkway Finn has built a walkway with stones between Ireland and Scotland to enable the Scottish Giant to come in Ireland (for a contest of strength) without getting his feet wet while he crossed the Irish sea.

The trick Finn was exhausted. Oonagh, his wife, realised that her husband was not ready to fight against Benandonner. So she woke him up and dressed him like a baby so the Scottish Giant believed it was actually their baby. He got afraid because of the baby’s size, so he didn’t want to meet the father. Benandonner escaped and he destroyed the walkway between Ireland and Scotland.
