Character Dress Up Day Don’t forget that our fun-filled Character Dress Up Day is coming up on Friday, Oct. 30 th. Students are welcome, but not required, to dress up as their favorite book character. To keep the celebration focused on reading, we will be making posters to represent our favorite books. To assist with this project, please send in your child’s character book by Friday, Oct. 25 th. Even if your child is not participating in dressing up, please still send in a book so they can take part in the poster project. Character Dress Up Day Rules: Please remember: Swords, masks, and encumbering props are not to be sent to school. Likewise, blood, gore, and masks are also not permitted. Pumpkin Donations To assist our classroom in learning about the life cycle and parts of a pumpkin, we need donations of big pumpkins (5 in all) and mini pumpkins (19 one for each of our kiddos). If you are able to donate, please put a note in your child’s KIT Binder and I will respond ASAP. Thanks so much! Volunteers Needed! On Oct. 23 rd we will be studying the life cycle and parts of a pumpkin. To help with our investigations, we will need volunteers. If you are available on Oct. 23 rd from 9:00 until 10:00ish, please put a note in your child’s Bear Book. Thank you in advance!
