HETI Online Manager Guide As a manager in HNE, HETI Online will automatically assign you a Manager role based on your StaffLink Assignments. If you believe your Manager details are incorrect in HETI Online please contact your respective HR Team who can review the hierarchy structure with you.

When a HNE Manager logs into HETI Online ? you will immediately be assigned 2 roles.  Manager Role (This is the first screen you will see) View outstanding training for your direct/indirect reports Manage Team related tasks Approve Learning Requests Access approx. 10 reports that will give you the status of your teams learning activities Record PDR completions  Learner Role, you will be able to do the following: View and complete your own outstanding training View and print your transcript Search for learning that interests you

How is Training Assigned? Training requirements can be assigned to you and your team in 3 ways. Mandatory (Red Flag): Training requirements that are assigned as part of the State-wide Mandatory Training Policy. CE Directive (Blue Flag): Training requirements that are assigned as part of a local CE Directive. Assigned (Orange Pin): Training requirements that are assigned locally by direction of a manager. The targeting of these training requirements are based on StaffLink User, Position and Organisational data.

 Manager View.

My Team view (your default screen) Review and approve your teams training requests Run a report on Required (Mandatory) training for your team Status of your team members current learning: Not Attempted Incomplete Initial Expired View each team members Current Learning Learning History External Learning Enrol the team member into training Progress Bar with traffic light indicators to show your team course completions. Your teams outstanding training including Status and Due Date (listed in date ascending order) Click team members name to view their details or click the + to view their direct reports. Green is Good Have fun with your team

Approve training requests Your teams requests for training will be sent directly to you as their manager. You can view and approve both internal and external training requests Approve, Decline and/or Request Further Information. Click to view the Learning details Use Advanced Search to locate specific requests. Use this check box for bulk approvals

Manager – Review Request Details Review the details of the team members request. Choose one of the following: Approve Decline Request Further Information

Manager - Delegations View existing delegations, create delegations to suitable team member/s for periods of leave Your manager details will appear here automatically Delegate to suitable team member Please only delegate tasks like PDR after you have experienced the system. It is genuinely very easy :o)

Your Team Mandatory Training Report Please note: The OCL team will be progressively scheduling these reports for Senior Managers in HNE 1. Run Report These fields have been pre set so the system knows the report is for your team. Click Run 4. Report will appear - sample 2. Format can be changed to Excel and edited

Recording a PDR – it’s easy (seriously) Now for the really good news.. 3. Find - HNE Annual Performance Development Review for that team member 2. Click on the Actions arrow. Then Click View Current Learning. 1. Find the team members name in your list of direct reports 4. Click Play Cath Rutledge 5. Click Submit - Job done. SERIOUSLY – SOO much easier than Pathlore Please note: HETI Online does not upload or store relevant documents or records of the PDR process. These must be maintained with the Team Leader or Manager.

Now, It‘s all about your education. 1. The Home tab will take you to your own personal REQUIRED training needs 2. A visual snapshot of your progress with HNE Required (mandatory) training. Your team will see their own personal version of this screen They will NOT see your screen. However, you can see the screens of your team members. 3. A list of the Required (mandatory) training events you are required to complete as an employee in HNE Health. As you complete each event it be removed from your list of Required trainings 4. A list of events you have enrolled in to complete your progress with HNE Required (mandatory) training.
