INTRODUCTION: Worship has to do with our attitude and actions of honour, love and respect towards the one we reference and fear. Praise has to do with proclaiming (usually by our words and songs) the glory and goodness of the one we worship Ps 51:15). www.wordyaleo.com

PRAISE Praise is an expression of admiration and appreciation. When we praise GOD, we tell HIM how wonderful we think HE IS, or how great HIS accomplishments are. www.wordyaleo.com

We acknowledging God’s character and power. “Because your love is better than life, my lips will glorify you. I will praise you as long as I live and in your name I will lift up my hands” (Ps 63:3-4). www.wordyaleo.com

Worship is an expression of love and adoration. It is possible to admire someone and appreciate what they do without being in love with them. In the same way, worship has to do with our love of the Lord. www.wordyaleo.com

It can be expressed only with the giving of our whole heart and life to Him. “To love him with all your heart, with all your understanding and with all your strength, and to love your neighbor as yourself, is more important than all burnt offerings and sacrifices (Mark 12:33). www.wordyaleo.com

Praise helps us honor, worship, and give maximum glory to the One who deserves it (Eph. 1:1). Praise puts our focus on God, not our problems. God’s power, presence, and ability transform our thinking. www.wordyaleo.com
