Cover Slide (This slide will show while you are waiting to begin – if you want to keep your topic a secret for your hook, be sure to use a generic image or something equally mysterious…) NOTE ABOUT THIS TEMPLATE This PowerPoint template includes all the information you need to present to the judges. This template is very generic. You should customize your slideshow to suit your project (backgrounds, fonts, images, sounds, etc.) You many add as many slides as you need throughout the slideshow to give the judges the information they need!

Hook – Catch the judge’s attention.

Introduce yourself – tell them something interesting about you.

Introduce your topic and essential question.

Explain why you chose the topic.

Introduce your mentor Explain your mentor’s background and what qualified her/him as an expert in this area. (Include a photo. A photo of you WITH your mentor is ideal.)
