Followership Reaching a specific goal while exercising respect for authority, a positive attitude, integrity and self-discipline.

Followership Respect for Authority  You have to obey CAP regulations and the legitimate orders given to you by those appointed to positions of authority above you. Attitude  Understanding  Attitudes are contagious!

Followership Integrity  Doing what’s right when nobody is around  “a moral compass”  Honor  Fine sense of ethics, justice, and truth  Trustworthiness, respect, responsibility, and selflessness

Listening Do’s  Keep an open mind  Listen to understand  Listen to what not how  Take notes with care  Make (and hold) eye contact  Keep a positive attitude  Listen to new ideas Don’ts  Allow personal ideas/beliefs to interfere  Take too many notes  Try to argue or contradict

Self-management Manage your resources, time, energy, family life, sleep, nutrition etc. Examples:  Uniform  Being on time  Eating enough/healthily  Enough sleep
