Shooting at Parliament On October 22, Michael Zehaf- Bibeau, attacked Parliament Hill in Ottawa. He shot and killed Corporal Nathan Cirillo, a solider standing guard at the national war memorial before continuing on inside the Centre Block parliament building. MOMENTS IN THE NEWS M370 was an international passenger flight that left Malaysia on March 8 th, 2014 and was supposed to land in China on the same day. The plane disappeared after its last contact with air traffic control, an hour into the flight. The plane is still missing and the 239 people aboard the flight are presumed dead.
