Nastya Zaitseva 5a, Lyceum # —1967

Ostankino Tower - television and radio broadcasting tower, located in Moscow. Height m, 8th in the world by height. First name -"All-union radio and television transmitting station of 50 Years of October". Ostankino Tower is the highest building in Europe.

It was built by the designer - NV Nikitin. Engineer - MA and BA Shkud Zlobin [4]. Chief Architect - LI Batalov. Tower design simple and robust, composed of steel cables. The image of the tower became inverted lily. Now in the TV tower are 5 lifts. There are two viewing platforms - indoor and outdoor, height 337 m and 340 m.

In August 2000, in the tower was a large fire. Seat of the fire was at the height of 460 m. Fully bleached 3 floors. After months of pilot tours were allowed to drive excursion groups of no more than 40 people.
