INTRODUCTION Civilization instantly defined a new genre of empire-building strategy games and is recognized as one of the greatest virtual reality games ever created. Sid Meier created the original Civilization computer game in Civilization is a 2-3 dimensional role playing computer simulated game. Players interact with one another through avatar persona where commerce, economy, and transaction all play a big part. The object is to create an extraordinary empire starting from 4000bc that can with stand the test of time into the future. Players can match wits against some of history's greatest leaders as they strive to build the ultimate civilization to stand the test of time. Civilization is an addictive blend of building, exploration, discovery and conquest. The legacy of this incredibly fun, addictive series continues today with the development of many Civilization versions just waiting to be explored. Civilization is a wonderful educational experience for students as it allows players to control all government decisions, enforce or monitor religions, and modify human civilization which affects the community environment and virtual economy.

Task To complete this task you must do research on the game Civilization. The scenario is that you must become part of an elite gamers club. You must create a civilization so great that you complete the game in the best five of the competition (best statistics) which will be your class mates. Download the game from the internet if the class has not provided the software. Explore the game from different perspectives of each civilization. Build your competing empire to your best abilities.
