Each slide contains colorful backgrounds, Word Art, Clip Art, and animation. Bullets instead of paragraphs. Font is easy to read. No clip art from the internet (20 points). Students will create as PowerPoint Presenrtation for the novel The Outsiders that was read in class. Below is a list of slides that will be required for the presentation. Read the requirements and grading rubric carefully. This assignment is worth 100 points.

Slide 1 - Title: Include the title of the novel, the name of the author, your name, and hour (10 points).

Slide 2 - Characters: List the main character and minor characters. Who is your favorite or least favorite character and why? (10 points).

Slide 3 - Plot: Define the term plot, and provide a plot of the story (4-5 sentences) (15 points).

Slide 4 - Theme: Define the term theme and state one theme of the story ( 10 points).

Slide 5 - Symbolism: Define the term symbolism and provide an example of how the author used symbolism in the novel (10 points)

Slide 6 - Opinion: What did you like or dislike about the novel? What would you say about this book to someone else? What is your strongest reason for recommending or not recommending this book? (15 points)?

Slide 7 - Bibliography: Provide a correct bibliographic entry (work cited) for the novel. An example will be provided (10 points).
