ACKNOWLEDGEMENT First of all I am very greatful to our principal Mam Mrs. Kusum Ahuja to create such a wonderful idea of making project in order to increase the creativity. Secondly, I want to thank our subject teacher Mam Mrs. Meenu kakkar , who gave this project to me. Thirdly, I want to thank my parents who help me in making the same. Last but not the least I want to thank all those people who directly and indirectly help me in collecting the matter ,suggest how to make the project.

INTRODUCTION “ A picture is worth a thousand words” is a proverb that refers a idea that complex stories can be described with just a single still image, or that an image may be more influential than a substantial amount of text. It also a aptly charaterizes the goals of presentation where a large amount of data must be absorbed quickly. Presentation is a process of presenting a topic to an audience. It can be anything from a presenting a lesson to students about soil erosion in India to presenting a company mission statement to a group of new employes. The traditional way of presenting information to a people was to stand at the front of the room armed with a set of notes or prompt cards and to speak clearly and slowly. But the development of presentation of software such as Microsoft PowerPoint or lotus freelance around the mid 1980s, it quickly become the ‘norm’ to use a presentation show to illustrate the presentation content.

“USES OF POWERPOINT’S PRESENTATION” What is PowerPoint? PowerPoint is a presentation software that is used for creating a number of slides (presentation) to show user’s views, ideas etc. extension of PowerPoint is .ppt. “USES OF POWERPOINT’S PRESENTATION” It is a way of effective communication weather you are submitting a project report, or preparing a presentation on any topic, we can use PowerPoint. Every presentation in PowerPoint is made up of slides. Slides are individual pages of our presentation. Slides can have titles, text, graph, picture, clipart, visuals, sound, shapes, word Art and more. These slides can be printed in black and white or coloured.

PowerPoint views. There are five ways to view your presentation in PowerPoint. Each new presentation opens in normal view, which combines the outline of presentation with a view of current slide, as well as quick access to notes. The views can be switched by clicking at the desired view button. the views are located on the lower left corner of your PowerPoint window. The different type of views are:- Normal view Slide view Outline view Slide sorter view Slide show view Notes page view

NORMAL VIEW. Normal view contain three panes :- The outline pane, the slide pane and the notes pane. you can adjust the size of these panes by dragging the pane borders. Slides pane :-You can see how your text looks on each slide. You can add graphics, movies, sound, create hyperlinks and add animation to each slide. Outline pane :-It is used to organize and develop the content of your presentation . You can type all of the text of your presentation and rearrange bullet points, paragraphs and slides. Notes pane :- you can add the information you want to share with the audience.

SLIDE VIEW Slide view shows you one slide and its contents. In this view you can see individual slides in detail present in the presentation, and work with pictures, etc. You can use slide view to create or modify individual slides. It is easiest to use when you are designing your presentation slide by slide.

OUTLINE VIEW In the outline view, your presentation appears as an outline made up of the titles and main text from each slide. Each slide title appears next to a number and a slide icon. The body text appears below each title. In this view, you can rearrange the information within a slide, move entire slide from one position to another and also edit text. It allow you to work easily with the content. You can promote and demote text to create main points and sub-points, move the text around, create summary slides ,etc.

SLIDE SORTER VIEW Slide sorter view displays your entire set of the slide, present in your slide show on one screen, so that you can check the order and completeness of your presentation. The slides in this view are displayed in their miniature form. This view provide the facility to delete, insert, copy or rearrange the slides very quickly and easily.

SLIDE SHOW VIEW Slide show view displays the presentation on slide at a time in sequence as an automatic slide show (electronic presentation). This view is the view that shows the output of the presentation that you have created. This view helps you to critically analyze your presentation before you present it to a large audience.

NOTES PAGE VIEW Notes page view is available only from the view menu. This view lets you enter and edit speaker’s notes for the presenter. This view is generally used as a reminder. You can make notes of the selected slides in the space provided at the bottom . It is not necessary that you have to write notes with every slide.
