What I Already Know Can be fixed through surgery Can go blind eventually Have a friend with Glaucoma Buildup of fluid pressure in the eye

What Do I Want To Know? What is glaucoma? Is it painful? What types of treatments are there? Are there a lot of people with glaucoma?

Is it hereditary, if not how is it contracted? What are the effects on society? Is it curable? How do canes help the blind?

How are the seeing eye dogs trained so well? What is taught at the blind schools? What types of things are done differently when someone is blind? What kind of help is there for the blind?
