WOW! Thanks for all your help with recruiting volunteers! We now several individuals who want to volunteer. The next step in the process is to screen the applicants. This is an important step so we are fair and consistent in our hiring process, it helps us reduce risk such as theft and injury, helps to protect our reputation as a great camp, and it helps to increase overall volunteer comfort and morale. Are you ready?! Next

I am so glad you have decided to help us screen volunteers! There are several parts to the process. First, every volunteer must complete an application. Next, the application is looked over thoroughly by the staff, and finally, promising applicants are brought in for an interview. A manager will then contact their references to gain more insight into the applicant. So let’s get started by looking at the applications from a few potential volunteers. Next

Below are the volunteer applications from Jennifer, Brandon, and Cindy. To open their applications, click on the link next to their pictures. When you have finished viewing them, click Next. Next Jennifer’s Volunteer Application Brandon’s Volunteer Application Cindy’s Volunteer Application

Hopefully you just learned about our volunteer application and the components to the application. Our next step in the volunteer screening process is to interview the applicants. Let me show you the important points to keep in mind during a successful interview. Next
