My Modest Proposal is Why pay for college Melissa McCorkle

The problem College is to expensive. College puts thousands of people in debt for years even after they complete college. The cost of college is a big reason why some people do not attend.

The solution To ease the pressure on the college student… Preschool through high school seniors should pay for their schooling… Families should pay on a scale reaching one thousand dollars per year by the twelfth grade to off set the price of college…

In conclusion By the time the kids go through all twelve years of school, they would have paid enough money towards college that it would be free to attend.
