3 Essential Questions: 1) How will technology enhance teaching and learning? 2) What considerations go into teaching with technology? 3) What are the effects of technology on teaching?

Instructors should ground their choices of technology in individual course goals, personal teaching philosophy and disciplinary values

How will technology enhance teaching and learning? 1) Provide new opportunities for enhancing student learning that otherwise would be impossible or very difficult (inter-campus technologies). 2) Addressing specific learning goals more effectively (post resources online, utilize & chat functions, etc.) 3) Taking advantage of rich information available online (Searchable indices, Google Books, Asbury Scholar, etc.) 4) Preparing students for life in a wired world (e.g. teach students how to use technologies)
