Course Details: A-Level Mathematics(1 qualification) Choice to make:Statistics or Mechanics Exams:Y12 – Pure Maths (C1, C2) and Optional unit (S1 or M1) Y13 – Pure Maths (C3, C4) and Optional unit (S2 or M2) All exams are 1 hour 30 and you may use a calculator in all but C1 Time Allocation:5 hours per week (plus homework!) Why should I study Maths at High Storrs? Very strong department: –Experienced, enthusiastic and well qualified staff. –Study support available at all times – particularly around module exams. –In Y13, we have 9 students studying Further Maths and 32 students studying Maths –In Y12, we have 12 students studying Further Maths and 48 students studying Maths Results: –2015 Results: 97% grades A*-E at A-Level and 100% A*-B at Further Maths! MLE: –We’ve invested heavily in the MLE and purchased online textbooks for all modules, –All past papers, revision materials and much more on class sites.
