Before the creation of 3dams upstream of Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park,the Gunnison River was as much a 5 times more powerful than it is today! The temp at the bottom of the Black Canyon is approximately 8 degrees warmer than at the rim. FACTS TO KNOW
