What is multimedia computing? mm planning group  Infrastructure needs  Standardization, storage, network  Project work  Support, R&D, training, consulting

How can we work across campus? Big question at Duke -- centralize? Distributed model requires community work -- dynamic community We need to clarify who does what, where, and for how much

Who does what, where, and for how much? Departments (Student Affairs, A&SIST: jhfc, csill, etc.) Schools (Fuqua, Law, PRATT, NSOE, Med Ctr, Med School, etc.) Organizations (dukecreative.org, news and information svcs., duke recording studio) Classroom Innovators (CIT, Library) Infrastructure (OIT: ows, ats, etc.)

Project types Small, medium, large Budgets: small, medium, large Timelines: small, smaller, smallest
