In 2015, reminding decision-makers of the human health impacts of air pollution is more important than ever. American Lung Association: Healthy Air Campaign Overview 6

Are you someone who exercises outdoors and knows that poor air quality puts you at risk? Do you often miss work to care for a child with asthma? Do you notice high pollution days in your community? Your story helps decision makers see the connection between dirty air and poor health. It’s okay to keep it simple. 17

We will breathe easier when people are free from the addictive grip of tobacco and the debilitating effects of lung disease. We will breathe easier when the air in our public spaces and workplaces is clear of secondhand smoke. We will breathe easier when children no longer battle airborne poisons or fear an asthma attack. Until then, we are fighting for air.
