THE WONDERFUL EAST Explore the East By Frank and Emma

❖ Surrounded by Canada and the south region ❖ The bodies of water the East is surrounded by Atlantic Ocean and lake Erie and lake orlando ❖ The East is divided into two regions called the New England states and the Mid-atlantic states WHAT’S NEAR THE EAST

NEW ENGLAND STATES AND CITIES  The states in New England are Connecticut,Maine,Massathusetts,New Hampshire,Rhode Island,Vermont.  The largest city in New England is Boston.  Two major industries in New England are banking and incurance.

TOUR NEW ENGLAND  They can walk Boston’s Freedom Trail,they can visit colonial villages,and ski on mountains in the winter.

MID-ATLANTIC STATES AND CITIES vAll the states in the Mid-Atlantic are Delaware,Maryland,New Jersey,New York,and Pennsylvania.  The largest city in the Mid-Atlantic is New York City  Two other populated cities in the Mid-Atlantic are Philadelphia and Baltimore.

SUBURBS vThere are lots of houses in the suburbs also close to city.  People might like living in the suburbs because there is not any traffic also the suburbs are close to the city and most people work in the city.

WHAT WE THINK ABOUT THE EAST Frank likes living in the east because there is lots of places to ski. Emma likes living in the east because there are lots of beaches to go to. What’s Cool About Living In The East
