What is Destiny? Destiny is a first-person shooter video game developed by Bungie and published by Activision. It was released on September 9, 2014, for the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One consoles. Destiny marked Bungie's first new franchise since the Halo series, and it is the first game in a ten-year agreement between Bungie and Activision. Set in a "mythic science fiction" world, the game features a massively-multiplayer "shared- world" environment with elements of role-playing games.

What is a MMORPG? Massively multiplayer online role-playing games (MMORPGs) blend the genres of role-playing video games and massively multiplayer online games, potentially in the form of web browser-based games, in which a very large number of players interact with one another within a world. As in all RPGs, the player assume the role of a character (often in a fantasy world or science-fiction world) and takes control over many of that character's actions. MMORPGs are distinguished from single-player or small multi-player online RPGs by the number of players able to interact together, and by the game's persistent world (usually hosted by the game's publisher), which continues to exist and evolve while the player is offline and away from the game.

Bungie & Activision Bungie and Activision are the creators of Destiny, Bungie also created on of the most popular games, Halo, Activision created the Call of Duty games.

DLC? DLC stands for downloaded able content, after a few months of the games release there will be add on’s for the game, which will give you more story missions, guns, more locations to visit, so far the list of dlcs for destiny are: The dark below. The dark blow give you the crotas end raid. The house of wolves. The house of wolves gives you the prison of elders. The taken king. The taken king gives you the kings fall raid.

Audience The game is aimed at people ages 15 or older but I have came across 7, 10, 6 and 13 year olds playing it.

What to do inside of destiny Inside of destiny there is a hand full of activities to do while playing, Crucible: the crucible is a pvp playlist (player vs player) Vanguard strikes: strikes are a pve playlist (player vs enemy) with a variety of activities to play and is great fun while playing with your friends Raids: raids on the other hand are quite hard, and requires 6 skilled players to take on various mini bosses puzzles and a actual boss, the easiest raid is the vault of glass, the second easiest raid is the crotas end raid and the hardest raid out of them all is the kings fall raid These 3 raids are level based, vog being light level 27 on easy and 30 on hard, crota is light level 30 on easy and 32 on hard the kings fall raid is a light level 42 raid which requires 280 light which makes you level 40 and its extremely hard.

Downs of playing destiny The downs of playing destiny are it is to repetitive until the weekly refresh which is every Tuesday at 10:30, the reset is where you complete the raids or heroic missions and you have to wait till rest to be able to get rewarded from it again, it is also really buggy which can bring rage to a lot of gamers

Average completion time The average completion time is a day (24 hours) it took me atleast 8/9 hours to complete because I was non stop playing and grinding to finish the game and to increase my level.

Levelling Before the taken king dlc, you would of have to reach level 20 and then find rare on legendary gear with light on it to increase you level higher then 20, but now the ttk dlc is accessible you are able to reach level 40 before finding your gear to increase your light.

Gear/weapons The gear/weapons are varied on colour the order it goes is White- common Green- uncommon Blue- rare Purple- legendary Yellow- exotic White being the worst and yellow being the best you are able to wear a full load of white/green/rare and legendary but you are only eligible to wear 1 piece of exotic gear, using whit, green and blue will make you more vulnerable of getting killed a lot so the best thing to do is have 1 piece of exotic on your armour and guns and have the rest legendary that way you are able to do more and take on harder mission and targets.

Classes Titan- a titan is a tank built character with the sub classes of ward of dawn which is a defence bubble and it have fist of havoc which is a sticker ground slam the new sub class is called sun breaker which allows you to throw blazing hammers around Hunter- the hunter is a snaky type character with the sub classes of arc blade which allow you to use a electric knife and it is also good for snaking past higher level enemies with the invisibility cloak the other sub class is a golden gun which allows you to do large amounts of damage if you have the combustion perk equipped they new sub class Is called night stalker which allows you to shoot a void burn bow at your enemies that blinds them Warlock- the warlock is a mage type character with the sub class void walker which allows you to throw a massive orb that explodes Which is great for taking out large groups of enemies, the sun singer is a fire based class with the unique perk of radiance which allows you to self resurrect the new sub class is called storm caller, which allows you to look like something out of star wars, you are able to shoot lightning blunts from your hands and hover
