. Ponds are vanishing by filling of soils Grounds are concreted by royals. importing water by tanker Poor are struggling to get water. Drop, drop, drop after drop In rain, frogs jump hop, hop, hop. In cities or towns, need to make, More number of pond or lake. Need it’s storing, without wasting By “Rain water harvesting” It is simple to make in under ground, Bigger tank with walls all around. Drop, drop, drop after drop The rain water is pure and soft. It can be collected in any space At Forest, garden or at terrace. That can use, without any filter In place of supply of boring water, Let us plan for aqua conservation, for minimization of it’s consumption. Need to work jointly, hold the precious rain, To store it smartly, before it quickly drains. Let us store Rain, before it’s drain Drop, drop, drop after drop Rain water falls from top. From lakes, oceans and rivers Clouds carry water vapour. They turn day light into dark Some times appears with spark. Due to collision between clouds Before rain, thunder comes aloud. Drop, drop, drop after drop Plenty of water needed to grow crop, It’s comes from sky under gravity Falls on forest, field or on city. It drops with musical sound Targeting to reach under ground In ponds, it’s store by villagers To use through out the year. Drop, drop, drop after drop Monsoon rain falls non stop. But in the city, the God gifted rain Majority passes through it drains In the World water day celebration at our school, “ Little flower School”, Jamshedpur, I had recited the below poem related to storing of water through rain water harvesting system and appreciated by school teachers and selected for publishing in next school souvenir.
