Supplemental Instruction (SI) Centre If a course is SI supported, it’s a clue that is a difficult course …. Strongly encourage your students to attend the SI sessions! –Structured peer study workshops designed to support difficult courses such as chemistry, calculus, economics, mathematics and physics –Led by senior students –1-1/2 hour workshops held twice a week –Offered during the week and on weekends –Over 1000 students attended last year, and our data shows students benefited from the support Location: Macdonald House

The Writing Centre The Writing Centre can help students understand how to improve their writing at the university level –Offers individual consultations –Several workshops on campus and in the residence facilities –Extensive resources, including handouts and online materials Drop-in hours! Sunday afternoons and some evenings…. great way to become familiar with the services! Location: Library, Main Floor
