Grove Primary School

What is E-Safety? E-Safety is a term which means not only the internet but other ways in which young people communicate using electronic media, e.g. mobile phones. It means ensuring that children and young people are protected from harm and supported to achieve the maximum benefit from new and developing technologies without risk to themselves or others.

This video is an example of how you can have a conversation at home with your child about E-Safety.

Use parental controls on devices that link to the internet, such as the TV, laptops, computers, games consoles and mobile phones. Talk to your child about what they are up to online. Monitor what your child does to check if safe and appropriate.

Take a photo on your phone, write down or follow the link on School website E-safety tab.
