Monologue: introduce a friend Kate is a primary school teacher. She has a third grade class this year, with children who are eight or nine years old. She teaches maths and Chinese. She gives them a lot of work, but she tries to teach them good study habits. She also makes her lessons interesting.

Sometimes students and their parents come to school early for conferences with Kate.
