What is a hero? When COMPLETELY finished with Webquest, turn it in. Get into groups of three. Then choose a historical person from the list. A person can only be used once. Write your group member’s names next to the name you choose. Create a brief presentation about the historical figure using at least five interesting facts. Use the internet to find reliable sources. Jot notes and your thoughts on paper. Explain to the class WHY or WHY NOT the person was a hero to enslaved people. Present a 3-5 minute speech to the class about the figure.
