Asian Institute of Technology, Energy field of study20 Conclusions PV generator add more damping to the critical modes of the power system. Critical modes of the power system are not affected by the radiation level change. PV generator improves the loading margin of the power system. Even at lower radiation level, it provides better loading margin than the base case (Without PV). Comparatively lower CO 2 tax makes PV option viable than diesel in case of Bangladesh. Based on fuel availability and radiation level, different emission taxes can be implemented at different system buses.
