Math: Teacher Created Curriculum  Kindergarten Grade Math Talking Points for Curriculum Night:  We are using an adjusted math curriculum that is now aligned to the CCSS with the help of the expertise of our professional staff.  The adjusted curriculum is more rigorous and increases a student’s depth of knowledge.  The adjusted curriculum is differentiated to meet the needs of all levels of learners.  The lessons are scaffolded from concrete activities to abstract thinking.  All lessons include the components of: Demonstration lesson, guided practice, independent practice, a Student Achievement Check, Practice Pods, homework, and pre-/post- assessments.
