Verbs + -ing
Talking about likes and dislikes We use love, enjoy, hate, like and don’t like to talk about our likes and dislikes. We add -ing to the verb after these words. e.g. I love/enjoy / like hate / don’t like watching videos.
What do you like / don’t like doing on public transport? I enjoy reading on the train.
I hate standing on the MTR.
I don’t like seeing litter on the bus.
I like sleeping in the taxi.
