Now you need to think about your point! YOUR CLAIM.

CLAIM  This is also your THESIS  STATE WHETHER OR NOT YOU BELIEVE SUGARY DRINKS AND HIGH CALORIE SNACKS SHOULD BE CUT FROM VENDING MACHINES IN SCHOOLS?

WRITE YOUR INTRO ON FIRST PAGE OF BOOKLET  SENTENCE ONE: HOOK ABOUT SUGARY DRINKS/SNACKS or ABOUT THE OBESITY EPIDEMIC IN SCHOOLS  SENTENCES TWO AND THREE: BACKGROUND INFORMATION This answer the question: Why am I writing about this? What does the reader need to know about the topic before I move on? SENTENCE FOUR : Claim – aka THESIS – This answers the question: Should schools cut sugary drinks and high calorie snacks from vending machines in schools?

What are you going to say that will sell your side one way or the other? WHEN YOU ARE WRITING, PRETEND YOU ARE HAVING A CONVERSATION.

Present your idea and then back it up with a FACT from one of the documents.
