CCSS.ELA-Literacy.RH Use evidence from the text to explain how the structure of the 95 theses influences the reader’s understanding of the document.  Review the document looking for unique structural features.  How does this structure compare to other things you have read?  Is there anything unique about the structure?  Determine the author’s purpose in using this structure.  Why has the author chosen to write the document in this way?  What point is the author trying to make by using this structure?  Analyze the effectiveness of the structure  Does the author reach his goal buy using this structure?  Does the structure help or hinder the readers’ understanding of the document?  Summarize your findings using evidence from the document.

CCSS.ELA-Literacy.RH Use evidence from the document to determine if Luther sufficiently proves that the Catholic Church is corrupt and in need of reform.  Review the document to determine the purpose of each section.  What is the author’s goal in writing each section?  How does the writer expect the reader to respond?  Reread each section critically and examine your own reactions as a reader.  Is the author fulfilling his purpose in each section?  Does the author fulfill his purpose overall?  Are there any parts of the document that fulfill their purposes exceptionally well?  Summarize your findings using evidence from the document
