Light Bulbs! The technology on light bulbs is advancing year after year, getting more energy efficient. This specific light bulb was released on earth day in The cost is $60 and runs on less than 10 watts of energy and is supposed to have a lifespan of 10 years. This is estimated to save about $100 in just a decade!

Turn off Neglected Appliances! Unplugging appliances such as phone chargers, TVs, lamps, etc. can lower the amount of electricity being used in your home. Most appliances have a standby mode that suck power without being used so it is useful to have a power strip to more easily unplug appliances.

Insulation Insulation is used in homes to better control the climate. Over time, insulation settles down the walls therefore not insulating as well as it did when it was first put in. Replacing your insulation can help better regulate the climate in your home, cutting down on heat and A/C usage.
