 No more paper  Convenient for patients  Improves accuracy of diagnoses and health outcomes  Securely shares electronic information with patients and other clinics  Reduction of medical errors  Efficient

 According to Medscape the use of EHR’s are steadily increasing  At least 82% of respondents either currently use or are in the process of implementing and EHR.
