Main Question How did Greek and Roman Gods affect the lives of people and how was it alike and different?
Learning Target I can explain how culture defines Greek and Roman people in the world in the past.
Powers of Greek Gods Zeus- He is the king of all Gods and God of the sky. Hera- She is the Queen of all Gods and the goddess of marriage. Poseidon- He is the God of the Sea. Demeter- She is the Goddess of the harvest. Ares- He is the God of war and fought for love. Hermes- He is the God of thieves.
Powers of Roman Gods Saturn- He is the God of seed-sowing. He was also king of the Gods, but he isn’t anymore. Cupid- He is the God of Love. Neptune- He is the God of the Sea. He holds a three tiped spear called a Trident. Mercury- He is the God of trade and profit. Aurora- She is the Goddess of Dawn. Phanes- He is the God of creation.

Cronos Attack Zeus: Zeus is the King of the Gods and had power over all of them. He was the son of Cronos. Cronos tried to kill Zeus and his brothers Poseidon and Hades. Zeus was eaten and had to cut his way out and was then the God in charge of ancient Greece.
Hermes Thievery Hermes- He took a lot of things from the people in ancient Greece such as cows and horses causing famine and people starving to death. Also he took stuff from the Gods such as Zeus’s lightning bolt.
All Hail Saturn, Not!!! Saturn- He was once king of the Gods, his place was taken by his son Jupiter. Saturn is the God of seed-sowing and agriculture. A holiday was named after him called Saturnalia.
The Creator Phanes- He was believed to have created life in ancient Rome. He was also believed to be the first God to create life within the Gods.
